MICA Welcomes Tim Smith of B&E Foods to the Board
The Meat Import Council of America (MICA) is pleased to welcome Tim Smith, CFO of B&E Foods, to its Board of Directors.
Smith joins the Board with more than 20 years of experience in financial management and operations, along with engagement in MICA’s committee work. He previously served as Vice Chair of the MICA trade Policy Committee, where he played an active role in advancing the organization's policy priorities and supporting the interests of U.S. meat importers.
As CFO of B&E Foods, a wholesale meat brokerage connecting leading meat producers with retailers, restaurants, and distributors across the United States, he oversees financial planning, risk management, and operational strategy in a highly competitive marketplace. Prior to entering the protein sector, Smith built a successful career in mortgage banking, holding senior leadership roles responsible for financial strategy,, compliance, budgeting andoperational efficiency.
Smith is a graduate of Texas A&M University and remains committed to professional development and lifelong learning. He is actively engaged in his community and values collaborative leadership.
